This pre-1964 Model 12 takedown trap gun was milled from solid steel, has blued finish, non-glare top, matted vent rib. The deluxe checkered pistol grip stock has what appears to be triple X grade fiery grain walnut. The full choked barrels features factory vent rib and twin silver beads, which is matching box description. Deluxe grain three panel checkering with a couple of minor impressions. CONDITION: Blue on frame is as new, 99.9% or better, showing virtually no wear. Forward area of tube has a couple of very minor rubs, as does rear of tube. Winchester red rubber recoil pad is a replacement as the original had deteriorated. Stock is in near mint condition with a couple of very minor handling impressions. Mirror bore. Action works like new. This gun comes in its original Winchester box with all inner cardboard. There is an original instruction booklet, pre-1964, and an original gun oil pamphlet; both are pre-zip code. Box end label states "Winchester Model 12 Hammerless Repeating Trap Gun 12 Gauge 30" Barrel Full Choke Winchester Special Ventilated Rib Serial No. 1795135". Box shows usual scuffing but is in excellent condition retaining all aprons. Label is complete.
