Lot consists of: Gun (A) One of the best deep woods hunting rifles ever invented was this pump action chambered for the powerful .35 Remington. Features full round barrel, 2/3 spiral magazine, ramp front sight, rear sight has a filler, sling swivels, blue finish, grooved walnut forend, plain pistol grip stock and waffle pad. Mounted with a Weaver K25 Scope, the best scope ever made for deep woods hunting. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 98% factory blue, tube is thinning. 95% original blue on frame, little area of age spotting on right side. Forend is excellent. Buttstock has finish loss at front and base but could be easily refinished, waffle pad is crumbling. Scope mounts are Echo Boise. Base for a receiver sight is present but no stem. Fine bore and action. Gun (B) Nice custom sporter built on the original 1903 Remington Springfield action. Features ramp front sight with band, no rear sight cut, blue finish, walnut stock with pistol grip, Monte Carlo comb, solid red pad, and a stamped trigger guard and floorplate. Mounted with a Leupold scope Model M8 4x power standard crosshairs. CONDITION: Wood is excellent with minor handling marks. Fine bore and action. Good solid hunting rifle.
