John Martz was a skilled craftsman in northern California that would take German military hand guns and convert them into something special. This gun started out as a Word War Two Walther P-38. Now it is a custom .45acp P-38. CONDITION: The gun near mint in the satin white with standard black plastic grips. Inscribed on the left side is "MARTZ 45 No 25". On the right side of the frame it has JVM and 25 in ovals. It has a custom manufactured barrel, slide, and magazine to accept the larger .45acp cartridge. Great bore with sharp lands and grooves. A very unique custom gun. Provenance from the Ralph Shattuck collection.
