Overall length: 41 - 3/4 inches. Barrel length: 26 inches. Marked "H. Leman, Lancaster". Circa 1840, in excellent condition although the barrel length may have been shortened in its period of use. The percussion lock and the octagonal rifled barrel are both marked legibly. The oval brass patchbox and 13 pewter inlays constitute the curly maple stock's embellishments.
