Manufactured by Deutsche Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken Co. for sale in the United States and abroad. This is known as the 1920 long barrel commercial. Features include; round barrel with dovetailed inverted V front sight, nine position artillery sight on barrel, thumb safety marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position, extractor marked "GELADEN", center toggle link marked "DWM" in script. Crown N commercial proofs on left receiver, barrel and left side of breach block. American Eagle above the chamber has been added. CONDITION: Excellent with the gun retaining approximately 95% of the Non-original applied rust blue finish with strawed small parts. Aftermarket side plate that has been numbered to match the gun. Mirror bore with sharp lands and grooves. Un-numbered checkered walnut grips show some wear. Wood bottom nickel magazine. Germany export stamp on left side of frame and on the barrel. The barrel serial number is 913. A hard gun to find in any condition. These guns came with 10" - 24" barrels in both 9mm and .30 luger. A very desirable gun.
