Overall length: 56 inches. Barrel length: 40 inches. This "bench" rifle still has its original rifling, double-set triggers with German silver mountings including the oval patchbox. The curly maple stock has an old refinish with six silver inlays including a profile of a running deer on the cheek piece. The octagonal barrels is marked "J.M. Watson, Altoona", circa 1850. The condition is very good.
