Features include octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel and tube are basically a chocolate brown patina with razor sharp legends. Side of frame retains approximately 50% original blue with brown patina surrounding, coming though and blending perfectly. Case colors have patterned out. Wood is very good to excellent, proud to metal with usual abrasions. Visible rifling, good at best. This rifle, with its generous amounts of blue turning patina, has a handsome overall look; age with beauty.
