Lot consists of: Gun (A) Winchester Model 1906 slide action rifle manufactured 1914. Features full round barrel, nearly full length magazine loading tube, sporting sights, takedown, grooved walnut forend, walnut stock and black composite buttplate. CONDITION: Legends are sharp, as is gun. There is virtually no original finish, now basically a grey-brown patina. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal with no cracks or repairs. Fine action. Good visible rifling. Good shooter. Gun (B) Winchester Model 1890 slide action rifle manufactured 1906. Features full round barrel, 2/3 magazine, Winchester sporting sights, takedown, blued finish, grooved walnut forend, walnut buttstock and rifle butt. CONDITION: This rifle was rebarreled at one time, the barrel legends are later. Barrel retains approximately 75% blue. Flashes of original blue on tube and frame but mostly patina. Stocks are very good, proud to metal; but stock has a wrist repair, small tang crack and a large gouge out of left side. Fine action. Near mint rifled bore. Given the new barrel, this should be a good shooter and with some attention to the buttstock, could be a nice little rifle.
