The Model 64 is nothing more than an attempt to modernize the old 1894 rifle, bringing it into the modern age. Many of its standard features were commonly ordered special features on the old '94. This rifle features full round barrel, ramp front sight, Winchester sporting rear sight, half magazine, blued finish, pistol grip walnut stocks with fluted comb and checkered steel shotgun butt. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retain approximately 90% or better original factory blue with razor sharp legends. Forend cap retains 20% blue, balance flaked. Frame retains approximately 80-85% original blue, balance flaked. 75-80% blue on lever with wear on all edges. Stocks are excellent and proud to metal having never been sanded; usual dings and some oil darkening at butt. Fine action and strong, clean rifled bore. Very fine, all original condition throughout.
