Offered is a rare and desirable special order Winchester "Big .50". Features full round barrel, special order button magazine, sporting front sight, three leaf express rear sight, blued finish, case colored hammer and trigger, walnut stocks and special order smooth shotgun buttplate. Factory research confirms all features except sights not listed. Shipped April 11th, 1903. CONDITION: This gun was partially refinished by a master at his craft, as it is nearly impossible to tell; we feel that the frame and forend cap have been blued in the proper high polish Winchester style, hammer and lever were recased, wood was refinished but is still proud to metal, buttplate was reblued. Barrel finish appears to be original with razor sharp lettering and brown patina coming through. The blue retains approximately 90% blue with a few minor age freckles. Sharp edges. 98% blue on frame with a few freckles. 99% case colors. Near mint to mint bore. A stunning "Big .50".
