This is a standard blued takedown in all respects with Winchester flat top sporting rear sight, sporting front sight, blued finish, walnut stocks, ebony forend tip, and rifle butt. Factory research shows serial number applied November 25th, 1912; no other information available. CONDITION: All metal retains approximately 98-99% of its expertly restored blued finish, done in the true Winchester style. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with a few dings; extremely well-done refinish. Near mint bore and fine action. This rifle is an extremely handsome piece that will remind one of walking into a store in 1915 and seeing these on the sales rack. If you've been looking to a high condition .30-06 takedown rifle that you can shoot and don't have to spend a small fortune, you will be thrilled to own this rifle.
