30" Barrels with all correct Hunter Arms markings on tops is fitted with slightly raised matted rib holding ivory mid and brass front bead. All correct markings and proof are on bottoms of barrels. Splinter is reinforced. Case hardened action with non-automatic safety and Hunter One trigger is engraved in usual "ideal" style with rudimentary line acanthus engraving on action, lockplates with large leaves in shaded background with wiggle borders. Blued trigger guard is gold inlaid "Victor C. Snyder" in facsimile of a signature, as often done on special ordered or presentation L. C. Smiths. Somewhat flame figured American walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14" over leather faced Hawkins pad. Standard checkering is at grip. Matching splinter ejector forend has inlet ebony tip and J-spring release with knurled secondary latch in guitar shaped escutcheon. CONDITION: Fine. Barrels with most of what appears to be original blue, but is most likely an old re-blue, with scattered handling marks and pitting on side of left barrel near action. Action retains 30 -40% original case hardening color. Stocks have most of their original finish, worn, scratched and marked. Checkering considerably worn. Bores are very fine, shiny with some light scratches. Mechanically fine. MGM 235
