Red wool central band, removable khaki cover over the black wool top. Patent leather chinstrap supported by two gilt metal side buttons. Rankin and Co Ltd maker's details to the interior of the cap. CONDITION: Very good. The red band exhibits a few small holes, interior shows moderate service wear. (B) British Army Generals Peaked Service Cap with bullion cap badge insignia. Red wool central band with khaki top and visor. Patent leather chinstrap supported by two gilt metal side buttons. Hawkes & Co Ltd makers details to the interior of the cap. CONDITION: Interior shows moderate service wear and typical discoloration to the crown lining. (C) British Brigadier's Peaked service Cap with Lion and Crown bullion cap badge. One row of bullion oak leaf decoration on the patent leather visor. Red wool central band, black top. Patent leather chinstrap supported by two gilt metal "ERII" side buttons. Maker "Herbert Johnson 38 New Bond St London W" embossed on the leather sweatband. CONDITION: Interior shows moderate service wear and typical discoloration to the crown lining.
