Lot contains: (A) Horn engraved "WM MILE" and with 10-1/2" horn body. Featuring engraved designs of a fowled anchor, various birds, including one labeled "A Swallow", fish, and insects, surrounded by engraved flowers and folk art designs. Bulbous wood plug, scalloped spout, wood plug absent. CONDITION: Good condition with pleasing patina and some minor insect damage around plug and towards base. (B) Folk art patriotic horn of 11-1/2", with curved body and lightly engraved patriotic eagle and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" along with a tortoise with shield and stripes on its shell. Also with an engraved deer labeled "A BUCK", and a portrait labeled "ABRAHM L", along with several fish, a horse, and birds. Bulbous wood plug and separate relief horn ring at base, brass spout is missing. CONDITION: Fair condition, some scattered insect damage, relief ring no longer connected due to insect damage. Otherwise, retains a pleasing patina. (C) Horn with curved 13" body and pewter cap engraved with borders and "J. Hemp Craw/1864" with a lid and storage compartment. CONDITION: Good condition with some minor insect damage, missing spout. (D) Hand forged iron and brass fur trader's scale. CONDITION: Very good condition.
