A) BYF 42 code 98 k with all matching metal parts. Late unnumbered stock with cup buttplate and original leather slings. Comes with bayonet that has matching sheath and original leather frog and leather ammo pouch marked Ryffel and Borns, Hanover, dated 1938. Original sights and hood with original ramrod. B) Carl Gustaf model 1896 bolt action with straight bolt dated 1914 on receiver. Walnut finger groove stock with brass disc and steel hardware. Original military sights and original ramrod. CONDITION: A) Refinished barrel with sharp markings. Bore is shootable but dark. Action has been refinished with sharp markings and matching numbers. Wood retains original finish but has no markings and is possibly a replacecement. Bayonet retains excellent original finish with leather frog still having black finish. Pouch has been rubbed with oil, but still in good condition. B) Barrel retains 90% of original military finish along with action. Bore is excellent and very shootable. Wood retains 80% original finish with some dings and handling marks.
