Six inch octagon barrel chambered for the 450 Adams cartridge with Tranter patent marked ejector mounted on solid frame revolver. One piece finely checkered walnut grips . Frame is marked TRANTERS PATENT 6015. Fantastic gold damascened finish with total coverage with exception of front of cylinder. Single and double action operation with drift adjustable post front sight and grooved receiver rear sight. These damascene finished guns are very rarely found in fine condition this example is in its fitted case with wiping rod. CONDITION. Very fine with very light surface staining on front of cylinder, Most all Damascened finish remains. The action is very good and properly function. Bore is good with slight surface pitting but very strong rifling. A fine and elegant cased English revolver. TDW
