These miniature arms were made around 1880 and show great detail. Irving Moskowitz was known to his fellow collectors as Mr. Bouted because of his lifelong interest in collecting the swords and firearms made by Nicholas Noel Bouted. This group of arms was purchased by him from a dealer in Paris. All of the arms have moving parts but do not shoot. This grouping of arms is featured in the book "Miniature Arms" by Merrill Lindsay and they are shown and described on pages 68 and 69. A copy of this book is included. The weapons include a brass mounted French musket with bayonet, four swords with scabbards, one sword without a scabbard, and a French muskatoon. The arms show great attention to detail and are extremely accurate. Complete with an oak display case with glass lid.CONDITION: All are in overall very good. Musket is missing its frizzen and sling is partially detached. One sword missing knucklebow.
