Wide single edged slightly curved blade with two partial fullers on each side. Right side of ricasso is stamped "U.S./ A.D.K." and the left side is stamped "AMES MFG. CO./ CABOTVILLE/ 1851". Standard brass hilt with two branches on right side. Brown leather covered grip with twisted brass wire. Complete with original steel scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent. Blade retains nearly all of its original polish with only a few light scabbard marks. Grip is excellent. Hilt retains an unpolished patina. Scabbard is excellent with some scattered light brown discoloration. From the Jim Linton Collection
