Lot contains (A) Bavarian Cavalry Sabre, (B) Blucher Cavalry Sword, (C) 1889 Prussian Officers Degen. (A) The Bavarian Cavalry Sword is, overall, in very good condition. The 36" blade is in very good condition with freckling and scattered marks throughout. The ricasso is stamped with the Bavarian crown and "Amberg", and the spine being stamped with the numbers "328". The hand guard is made of iron and shows and even dark patina throughout. The grip is made of wood. The wooden grip has a dark patina as well, with scattered light marks from use. The steel scabbard has consistent freckling and minor denting near the scabbards drag. (B) The Blucher Cavalry Sword is, overall, in very good condition. The 30" steel blade has scattered marks and large areas of staining. The spine of the blade is marked with the crown over "W" and the numerals "15" for the date 1915. The iron D-guard is in very good condition with even dark patina throughout. The wooden grip shows light use and a few scattered light marks. The steel scabbard has a consistent light freckling running it's length, and a few small dents are present. (C) The Model 1889 Prussian Officers Degen is, overall, in excellent condition. The 30" nickle plated blade is in near mint condition with very light freckling throughout. The ricasso is stamped with the makers logo. The hand guard is made of brass and and appears to have been painted black. The grip is made of wire wrapped trylon with a crest and is in near mint condition with light patina. The hand guard is the folding type embossed with a crest. The black painted scabbard has freckling throughout but remains in excellent condition.
