This Smith & Wesson Performance Center gun was a special edition produced in 2002 to commemorate the 150 years of the Smith & Wesson Company. Standard features of this Schofield revolver include single action, top break, blued finish, walnut grips, with case colored latch, hammer, and trigger guard. It has two-piece smooth walnut grips with the inspector cartouche on left panel. Chambered for the .45 S&W cartridge, as were the original Schofield revolvers. The left side has all of the original style correct patent dates. Special features include dated and inscribed gold panels on both sides of the barrel and gold panels on both sides of frame with images of Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson. The cylinder is a six shot, fluted with engraving and gold inlays of the Smith & Wesson Volcanic pistol. There is light engraving around all the inlays. Gun is in as new condition with no signs of having ever been fired, albeit there is a barely perceptible drag line. Comes in the original box with paperwork and medallion. Comes in a special Smith & Wesson Performance Center wood display case.
