Around 2008, Ruger introduced their standard high polish Vaquero six shot, single action patterned after the Colt Single Action Army and produced a limited run of 1,000 John Wayne Specials. Barrel features a facsimile signature of John Wayne, laser etched scroll engraving on barrel, cylinder, frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Also comes with specially carved "JW" walnut grips with reptile scale panels. CONDITION: Revolver has never been fired and only has a bit of light oxidation on housing. Comes in box with original receipt from 2008 and paperwork.
