This lovely rifle is the classic octagon '94 in a great early caliber with lots of original condition. Features full octagon barrel, full magazine Winchester sporting front and rear sight, blued finish, case colored lever, hammer and buttplate; walnut stocks and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel and tube retains 95% factory original blue with basically just high edge wear. Edges and legends are sharp. Both sides of the frame retains 75-85% of the high polish factory Winchester blue blending to grey patina on all high edges. Nice flashes of color on both lever and hammer. Wood is near mint, proud to metal with nominal bruising. Buttplate is greyed out. Screws are basically all true. Fine action and strong bore with sharp edges on lands and somewhat dulled grooves; clean and continuous. A lightly used, well cared for American classic.
