32" Two stripe Damascus barrels with matted rib are not maker marked. Boxlock type action is of early style, with no reinforcement on sides and sharp break off. Action is engraved with sprays of scroll within wiggle and geometric borders. "Ithaca Gun Co" is on both sides. Nicely marbled European walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 - 7/8" over Ithaca embossed composition buttplate. Fancy back point pattern checkering is at grip. Original splinter forend has J-spring release. CONDITION: Very good to fine, as partially refinished. Barrels retain most original Damascus finish, considerably browned. Action has perhaps 20 - 30% case color.appears to be darkened by cold blue. Stocks retain nearly all of an old oil finish, checkering re-cut. Bores are fine, lightly frosted, with a few scattered dents. Action is tight with forend installed. MGM 244
