(1895) 32" Barrels are marked with Parkers name and Meriden address, as well as "DAMASCUS STEEL" on matted rib. Barrel flats and lump have all correct markings. 1 - 1/2 Frame with automatic safety and double triggers is engraved in usual "G" style with splashes of scroll within geometric borders surrounding simple game scenes under "Parker Bros"; a pair of quail on left side, and flying ducks are on right. Two pheasant are on ground in circular scene on trigger plate. Trigger guard with scroll on bow has serial number on tang. Crotch figured American walnut Parker capped pistol grip buttstock measures 14 - 1/4" over Parker dogs head buttplate with spur. Standard point pattern checkering is at grip and a vacant German silver shield is on toe line. Matching splinter forend has patent date on typical release. CONDITION: Good, as partially refinished. Barrels are mostly gray brown patina. Action has traces of case color, is mostly light brown. Wood retains nearly all of an oil refinish over some light marks. Checkering re-cut. Bores are good, shiny, lightly pitted throughout. Action is tight. A small chip on left side panel of buttstock is filled with plastic wood. MGM 232
