The Model 1800 was marketed as an engineering breakthrough in Hi-Fidelity sound and engineering. Only 17,000 were produced in 1955. It accepts nickels, dimes, and quarters. It can play 104 selections from 52 available, 45 RPM vinyl records. The Carousel Record Changer is fully visible underneath the glass dome sides and canted glass front. The changer compartment background is a bright red sunburst of quilted plastic and chrome rays. The cabinet sides are a rich polished wood. The carousel arch and Zenith Cobra tone arm are bone white. The cabinet's curved metal grill is highlighted by twin sparkling pilasters, with air foil shaped fronts and cool blue light from the sides. Serial No. 226126. One key is included.
CORRECTION: The key provided does not work to open this machine. Sold as is, currently in working condition but may require maintenance to play consistently.
