Lot consists of: Gun (A) Manufactured in 1893. Features full octagon barrel, Winchester sporting front and rear sights, walnut stocks. CONDITION: Barrel is a smooth pleasing mix of factory blue blending to brown patina with some light aging. Razor sharp legends and edges. Barrel is stamped "No. 1". Case colors on frame has turned to a soft brown-silvery patina. Strong visible rifling with usual black powder abrasions. Gun (B) Winchester built military style musket manufactured in 1912-13. Features two bands, near full length walnut forend with metal nose cap, military style rear sight, sling swivels, carbine butt, blue finish and walnut stock. Missing cleaning rod. CONDITION: Barrel retains 85% original blue with scattered handling marks and light age freckling. Sides of frame retain 85% original blue with some patina and age freckling showing through. Walnut stocks are proud to metal. Excellent condition with usual handling marks. Strong visible rifling and fine action. Would make a good target shooter.
