Twin Damascus steel barrels with solid rib inlaid "LONDON" in gold. Patent hooked breech features one silver and one gold band with hunting motifs engraved behind each barrel and gold lined touch holes. Fitted on top with a single silver bead and on the bottom with a single steel swivel ramrod. Twin locks featuring waterproof pans, roller frizzens, and halfcock sliding safeties. Both locks are finely engraved with arms motifs and floral scrolls, centers with a gold inlaid banner engraved with maker's name "WILBRAHAM". Sterling silver furniture includes plain barrel key escutcheons, engraved ramrod entry ferrule, a small vacant wrist escutcheon and a detailed grotesque mask buttcap. The trigger guard is iron and features a pineapple finial and arms motifs engraved on the bow. Partially figured walnut stock with finely checkered grip. CONDITION: Very good condition as restored. Barrels retain almost all the professionally reapplied finish and engraving is crisp. Locks retain a grey patina and function well. Trigger guard retains a freckled grey patina and silver, mostly polished with some tarnishing in protected areas. Stock has a later coat of varnish with some areas now devoid of finish. Forend has been professionally restored. There is a hairline crack between the lock on the left hand side and the trigger plate. This is a very attractive and decorative double barrel English flintlock pistol.
