Standard mid-Civil War production. Features round barrel, brass bead front sight, five shot fluted cylinder, brass trigger guard and backstrap, case colored frame and hammer. Full or partial matching numbers on frame, barrel, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder pin. No number cylinder. Colt's patent on left side of frame. New York barrel address. Rock or unit number "269" stamped on grip panel. CONDITION: Brass is untouched. Original nipples. Legends are sharp. Gun metal is basically brown-grey patina. Screws are fairly true. Walnut grips fit perfect and retain 75-80% original varnish. Fine bore with pronounced rifling. Good action.
