These were made in Belgium as a copy of a Colt 1851 Navy revolver. Features full or partial matching numbers on frame, trigger guard and barrel. Backstrap is stamped "NC". Face of cylinder is stamped "N Gilon". Frame, trigger guard and backstrap all appear to be factory engraved. "V" and crown stamped on left side of barrel. CONDITION: Entire gun is finished in the white with razor sharp legends. Top of gun is marked "COLT BREVETE" on barrel. 90% cylinder scene of cavalry and Indians. Strong fine bore and good action. Grips are undersized and poorly fitted but are period and still retain 90% original varnish. Fine action. Strong rifling with shadow grooves. A nice Belgian copy in great condition.
