These were manufactured between 1913-1917 with an estimated production at about 2,500 total by all manufacturers, with only 800 having been produced by AW.W - this being one of those. Brass frame and barrels, with flared muzzles. Wood grips. Marked on the butt: "AW.W.15/ 207" Crown/M Kriegsmarine proof mark on the bottom of frame. Wood grips. Single trigger. 5 7/16 inch barrels. All matching numbers. PROVENANCE: Renowned Collection of Howard Resnick. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall with all markings clear. The grips appear to either be sanded down originals, or could be replacements. The grip screws, locking bolts, and possibly mainsprings are modern replacements. Some pitting on the hammers and trigger. Good mechanical function. Bores are fine.
