This custom deluxe Big 50 Winchester features a 24" half octagon barrel, sporting front sight, two leaf Express rear sight, button magazine, case colored frame, lever, forend cap and buttplate; pistol grip checkered walnut stock and rifle butt. CONDITION: Barrel retains 99% of the reapplied blued finish with razor sharp legends. Fire blued screws are true. Case colors on all parts remain at 99% brilliant. Contemporary stocks are near mint with beautiful grain oil finish. Fine action. Mint mirror bore. Factory research lists this rifle having been shipped December 30th, 1892 as a .38-56 caliber originally with octagon barrel, plain trigger, checkered stock, pistol grip and half magazine.
