Handel desk lamp has cylindrical shade of curved slag glass panels with geometric metal overlay with crest on face, supported by bronzed Handel adjustable base with scroll decorated arm, and plastic cord. Unsigned. Similar example illustrated in "The Handel Lamps Book" by Hibel, Hibel and Fontaine on page 45. Lamp stands 13-1/2" tall. Base has moderate wear to finish, some oxidation near foot and overall minor blistering, overlay has old solder and glue repair in area of the crest, glass is intact and acorn pull chain is functional, otherwise in good condition.
