Handel boudoir lamp has reverse painted glass shade with chipped ice exterior finish and moonlit landscape scene. Shade is supported by a copper colored metal base with decorative ribbed shaft and contemporary plastic cord. Shade signed on interior rim "Handel 6712", base signed with impressed "HANDEL" on outer edge of foot and has cloth "HANDEL" tag on underside felt. Similar example illustrated in "The Handel Lamps Book" by Hibel, Hibel and Fontaine on page 252. Shade is 7" in diameter. Shade has three tiny shallow nicks on the outer surface, light oxidation near lower edge, some interior scratches in paint in the pond of the scene. Base has worn finish, socket with acorn pull chain is functional, overall Good.
