(ca 1882) Starting with a Marlin Ballard action, appearing to be factory engraved with near full coverage large open flowing scroll with acanthus and floral highlights, a 29" round barrel by A. Hubalek (Arthur, from New York) has been fitted, which is mounted with Lyman 2 -1/2 X target spot scope. Custom made stocks of nicely figured and marbled European walnut are checkered in fancy pattern. Buttstock measures 13 - 1/2" over heavy cast German silver Schuetzen butt, and has nicely sculpted swept Schuetzen right hand cheekpiece. CONDITION: Excellent, as custom finished with only a few slight mars in wood and metal finishes. Bore is excellent. Scope is fine. MGM 176
