Features a 16 gauge Grade 3E with regular frame, Hunter Selective One Trigger and ejectors. Gun was one of 253 produced in 16 gauge. Gun was made in 1908. Frame shows 3E quail engraving on right side of sidelock action and swimming ducks on the left sidelock with floral pattern covering the bottom. CONDITION: Barrels retain 90% of an old re-blue with mirror bores. Action has worn to a silver peppery patina and engraving is very visible. Checkering is sharp and possibly retraced. Wood has a coat of an old refinish remaining. Gun has possible repair at tang with small brass discoloration indicating brazing at tang screw. Gun locks up tight and functions fine.
