Made in 1975, this beautiful long tang flat knob stocked gun has two barrel sets, one in 12 gauge and the other is a 20 gauge. Barrel set No. 1 is a 12 gauge 28" with chokes marked for "Mod/Full", 2-3/4" chamber marks. It has a low profile, ventilated, matted rib with small white plastic bead. Barrel set No. 2 is a 20 gauge set, also marked for "Mod/Full" chokes and has a 3" chamber marking and low profile, ventilated matted rib with small white front bead. Each barrel set has its own forend which is checkered in a five point pattern. The gun is stocked with beautiful American walnut in standard Midas pattern and terminates in a Browning brand hard rubber buttplate. Gold plated single selective trigger, auto-ejectors, and non-auto safety. The blued action is beautifully engraved, signed on left side by "Marechal" for the scroll engraving and "R. Kowalski" for the game scene engraving. The action is full coverage engraved with gold pheasants on left, small gold quail on bottom, and three gold ducks on right side each of the sides scenes are surrounded by gold accent lines in typical Midas Grade pattern. The gun is housed in what appears to be its original Airways two barrel set case. CONDITION: Extremely fine and very lightly used. Retains nearly all original finish to both wood and metal with only minor handling marks. There are a couple of minor handling marks on the buttstock but they are hardly noticeable. Gun has been fired but well taken care of. The case is in very good condition with only minor handling marks, though there is some significant soiling and rub marks. Just a great all around and useful set that is beautiful and striking!
