24" Barrel is fitted with traditional quarter rib along with banded on sling eye and ramp front base holding silver bead with flip-up front sight bead. Barrel is ported and marked with caliber at rear. Dakota Arms '76 action with turned down bolt and Model 70 type safety is fitted with scope bases and drop box bottom metal. Hinged floorplate is retained by button in trigger guard bow. Very nicely streaked and lightly figured European walnut steel capped pistol grip stock measures 14" over black Dakota Arms pad. Stock is classically styled with right hand shadow line cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, ebony plugged reinforcing bolts, and point pattern checkering at grip and forend. Weight: 9 lbs 1 oz. CONDITION: Excellent with evidence of considerable field use, perhaps one safari, with some scratches and marks in metal surfaces, and a hint of high edge wear. Stocks have a considerable number of bumps and rubs. Bore is excellent. Action is smooth. MGM 192
