This most attractive of all undecorated armors was likely from the atelier of the famous master armor dealer, Ernst Schmidt. The finely formed, fluted helm with bellows type visor with rectangular breath and eye slots has a roped cone, neck lames of three pieces. The skull is heavy and appears to be hammered from a single piece of steel. Pointed chin and beautifully roped edges. The fluted globose breastplate with rope boarder and fine fluting of good weight, fluted back plate en suite. Pauldrons of six lames, finely fluted almains collar of four lames. Fluted tassets of four lames. Movable skirt of three lames. Fluted cannons and fluted mitten gauntlets complete this most attractive armor. CONDITION: Good with expected wear and patination. The neck lame of the helmet struck with a Nuremberg mark.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
