Manufactured 1871 to 1888. This beautiful example exhibits engraving in scroll leaf pattern with punch dot background and decorative borders. Barrel has patent and address. CONDITION: Gun is in near new condition with a little bit of wear to the brass knurled knob. 95% original nickel finish with beautiful scrollwork. Hammer still has fire blue intact. Walnut grips are excellent with a few minor handling marks. Near mint bore. Very unusual American Deringer in fine shape.
