The B 2 G or "COBLANCE" grade sold well in Europe. This gun has 30" barrels fitted with Teague chokes, but are marked for IC and Imod. All Browning addresses and information are engraved on top barrel. Superlight type coin finished Browning action features single non-selective trigger. It is nicely engraved with 80% coverage scroll within line and geometric borders surrounding nicely detailed game scenes; a pair of pheasant are on left side, and two ducks take wing from marsh on right. Engravers signature, J. P. Bailly, is at bottom rear of pheasant scene. Long tang, square knob stock of beautifully marbled and lightly figured European walnut measures 14 - 7/8" over thin brown Decelerator pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Schnabeled on piece Superlight type forend matches well. Gun comes with high quality tan leather case with stitched leather corners embossed "Browning" on top. Case is lined in red cloth and has Browning Custom Shop label in lid. Case contains cleaning equipment, snap caps, bags for barrels and action and Teague choke lube. Gun comes with two sets of Teague choke tubes in black plastic cases. CONDITION: Excellent, very close to new, with scant evidence of firing since proof, and only a few minor handling and assembly marks in all factory surfaces. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent. 16 Bore Brownings are seldom found. MGM 180
