Manufactured in 1907 and chambered in the 44-40 Winchester cartridge. 4 3/4 inch round barrel with small two line Colt barrel address and is marked (BISLEY MODEL) and "FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on left side of barrel. Blue and case color finished with correct Colt Bisley hard rubber grips. Visible numbers are all matching and were observed on Frame, trigger guard, and back strap. The grips are correct and properly fitting. Single action design with six shot cylinder. CONDITION. Good overall with very limited amounts of the blue or case colors remaining. The overall finish has turned a thin patina. The bore is very lightly pitted with strong rifling. The action is very crisp and functions Grips fit excellently and are very fine with no cracks and excellent checker ring. properly. This is a fine honest example of the Bisley revolver in a great cartridge. TDW
