Standard "NEW HAVEN" in scroll on lock plate. "SNY" stamped into the top of the barrel. "P" proof on top of barrel. "V/WP" in clover cartouche on the left side of the stock, opposite the lock. Original flint. "SNY" also stamped into the comb of the stock. 42 inch barrel. CONDITION: Metal surfaces were lightly cleaned some time ago. Light pitting here and there. Lock markings are worn but visible. Barrel markings are clear. Stock remains untouched with a nice dark look to it and clear markings. There are some chips out at the front of the lock. There is a 1 1/2 inch crack on either side of the butt. Lock is in good working order with a strong mainspring and very audible clicks when cocked. Bore has some light rust and pitting.
