U.S. Army Indian Wars Full Dress Cavalry Officer's Uniform Coat featuring a matching set of eagle "C" buttons backmarked "Horstman NY & Phila". Overall in very good condition save for a 3/4" hole on the left shoulder. Black polished cotton skirt lining and moderately worn white cotton torso lining with label at collar "Hatfield & Sons New York", white cotton sleeve linings. Shoulders set up for hardware to accommodate shoulder knots and accompanying the jacket is a pair of Model 1872 7th Cavalry captain's shoulder paddles which show areas of tarnish. Jacket is complete with gold dress chest cords and waffles, in excellent condition. Included is a pair of blue trousers displaying a 1-3/4" yellow stripe on each leg, belted rear, two front pockets and watch pocket. The cuffs each display buttoned leather tabs. Trousers are in very good condition with a few small scattered holes. CONDITION: Very good overall. From the Ray Bentley Collection.
