Lot contains: (A) Standard Model 1902 saber for all officers with etched patriotic motifs on both sides of blade; made by Horstmann. Composite brown grip complete with nickel plated scabbard and leather sword knot. CONDITION: Fair. Retaining most of original surfaces with some scattered grey spotting. Outermost guard branch slightly deformed and sword knot with some losses to leather surface. (B) Brass hilted Model 1902 sword for all officers with etched patriotic motifs on both sides of blade and vacant presentation plaque. Blade marked with "MADE IN GERMANY" and "ASSOCIATED MILITARY STORE NEW YORK CITY". CONDITION: Excellent. Blade with only some light scabbard marks. Scabbard and hilt with a few areas flaked. (C) Model 1872 Officer's saber with single fuller steel blade, standard pattern brass hilt with patriotic motifs. Complete with steel scabbard with brass mounts. CONDITION: Good. Retaining a dark patina overall. Blade has been sharpened and retains a freckled, dark grey patina. Guard is slightly deformed.
