Samuel C. Wragg operated out of the 25 Furnace Hill Factory, Sheffield, England in the mid-19th century. This is a 1-7/8" wide drop point stamped "SAM'L WRAGG FURNACE HILL SHEFFIELD" on left ricasso. Has a nickel guard and ferrule, pistol grip style one piece ivory/bone handle. CONDITION: Legends are sharp. Overall blade displays some salt and pepper texture and age freckling. 2" age crack on left side of handle. Comes with a fine purple velvet covered leather sheath with German nickel throat and tip. Impressive London Bowie.
