In 1825 James Wilkinson set up business in his own name at 27 Pall Mall, London working with M. Wilkinson, all part of the larger Wilkinson sword family. This is an early spear point Bowie stamped on left side "M Wilkinson 27 Pall Mall". Features German nickel guard, two piece finely checkered ebony scales, wedding ring type ferrule, full tang, and metal pommel. 8-5/8" blade, 12-7/8" overall. Comes in a finely diamond tooled leather scabbard with scalloped German nickel throat and tip. Has built in safety. CONDITION: Legends are sharp. Blade has a few minor nicks. Scales are excellent with no cracks or chips. Signs of having been lightly cleaned.
