USMC corporal's World War I forest green wool uniform coat with seldom seen Fleet Marine Air Forces (FMAF) multi-piece wool shoulder patch. Enlisted bronze EGA discs on collar and sterling marksman badge with World War I Victory Medal above left breast pocket. Hat is a USMC 1917 winter "bell crown" cap made of Army olive fabric and has a woven wicker construction. Hat is marked inside crown by "MEYER'S MILITARY SHOP, WASHINGTON D.C." and shows a patent date label of January 7, 1913, and is size stamped 7-3/8. CONDITION: Uniform and hat are both excellent overall with the exception of an easily replaced button off the front of the coat.
