Lot contains: a small priming flask with bulbous wood butt and turn spout, good condition with some insect damage around plug; another small priming flask; a small powder horn with faceted spout and bulbous wood plug in good condition, showing some marks from use; a curved powder horn of 13" with a faceted spout and a flat, wooden butt with brass knob in center, and engraved with a scene of a soldier firing a musket at an Indian on horseback as well as a ship of war, a detailed fish and rampant lion and the style of engraving suggest that it is possibly a New England horn; very good with some scattered scratches and a mellow patina. Also included is an embossed 3 lb leather shotflask with brass dispenser in fair condition, part of release lever is broken and shows wear and restitching overall. There is also a Sykes patent leather covered powder flask measures 6-3/8" with black leather and a fire blued spring, top is stamped "EXTRA QUALITY" and "SYKES PATENT" and features a gilded powder measure spout in excellent condition showing only light wear. There is also a copper flask with embossed pheasants on both sides, fair condition with some seams resoldered and spout with some denting. Lastly, is a continental artillery sword with a single edge 23-1/2" flat steel blade, one piece cast brass hilt stamped on right side of guard "S (shield) O 1416", good condition, blade shows a spotted grey patina. Hilt with a few light marks and retaining an unpolished patina.
