English cameo biscuit jar by Webb has blue square glass body with pushed-in sides decorated with white carved cameo layer of bamboo plants, finished with plated metal collar, lid and handle in matching bamboo decor. Unsigned. A vase of the same bamboo decor is illustrated in the reference book "English Cameo Glass" by Grover and Grover, page 271. Accompanied by a set of plated salad utensils with blue and white floral cameo handles attributed to Webb. Hallmarked by William Mammatt, Sheffield. Some minor wear and tarnish to plated areas of each from age, one utensil handle with small fleabites to cameo leaf, jar has one minuscule nick on one bamboo stalk, otherwise Very Good.
