Royal Flemish vase is decorated with four snow geese in flight against a large sunburst with surrounding panels of blue, teal and purple separated by raised gold gilding and stars. The collar is decorated with gilded stylized flowers and leaves all set against a purple background. The reverse of the vase is decorated with gilded stars between colored panels. A similar vase is pictured in Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty Sisk, page 184. Vase is unsigned, but retains retailer sticker from Brookside Antiques, New Bedford, Mass., business of noted authority Louis St. Aubin, Jr.. Very Good to Excellent.
